Eric turned 9 on the 2nd. In this photo his teacher, Miss O'Bryan, is leading the class in singing "Happy Birthday" to him. Eva, Molly and I brought chocolate chip cookies to share with everyone and I read a funny book, "What are you so grumpy about?" by Tom Lichtenheld. (If you are looking for funny children's books, check out his.) After school, Andy and Meredith took Eric and 3 buddies to see "Star Wars, The Clone Wars". Then we all met at Eric's favorite restaurant, CiCi's Pizza. I think Eric had a good day!
If the classroom looks a little bare, it's because the whole school was remodeled over the summer and the finishing touches like bulletin boards had not be finished.
